So Nyo Shi Dae Continues Performing Streak

(Watch at Youtube for HD)

After finishing their performance on MBC’s Music Core, So Nyo Shi Dae performed on SBS’s Popular Song on January 11. Right now, Himnae is my favorite performance over Gee, but Gee is starting to grow on me. For their second performance, SNSD sort of switched the outfits with the song. For Gee, remeber the flashy jeans and sparkly tops from Music Core and the music video? Gone. I guess the fashion team decided to go for an all plain look so the girls are wearing a white top and jeans. Or I don’t really know what you would call those pants because they’re too long to be capris and a little shy of being full on jeans. Oh well. The only thing that bothered me was the huge loop earings that Taeyeon were wearing. Just a pet peeve and they ddn’t really seem to fit Taeyeon personality wise.

But for Himnae… full out school girl punk style. Fish nets, loose shirts and everything. Only a few including Sooyoung and Yoona were wearing school uniforms while all the girls were only heavy eye liner away from the hard cord punk look. Although I can’t really imagine them like that for a permanent look (goosebumps). But one piece of advice for Yoona and Hyo Yeon: if you are trying to imitate playing the guitar… you might want to make you left hand. All I saw was some flicking of the wrist from Yoona and Hyo Yeon was really in to it, but it was really obvious since the other hand wasn’t moving. Just a suggestion.

But overall, I think that this performance was a lot better incomparison with Music Core, especially without all those petal flying all over the place at the end. I still don’t know what that was for. The girls had much more energy (hopefully from a good night’s sleep) but you could still see Taeyeon forcing that smile and swallowing the fatigue. Their next planned stage performance is next Sunday, January 18 at SBS’s Inkigay. Check the soshisubs2 channel on youtube for HD quality of the performances. It makes a difference. A huge difference. Especially when the faces aren’t all pixelated.
