The four big names for SBS this year were: Gourmet, On Air, Painter of the Wind, and Iljimae. Not all of them were the best dramas ever, but in relation to the status and quality of the dramas this year…The surprise this year was Moon Geun Young receiving the Daesung. Unexpected? Yes, but very deserving. I get the odd feeling that with the popularity of these (by these, I mean girls posing as boys) dramas, there will be a lot of them popping up next year.

There was a lot of criticism towards Tazza and On Air for mediocre acting not the best plot ever. On Air was more of a wow wow drama, meaning that you watched it for all the cameo appearances in slipped in between episodes and at the end, happy ending. That was about it. Tazza was there for some action and a little bit of tension. Both weren’t impressive acting wise, but not many dramas this year were, so hard to pick. Iljimae, unfortunately, didn’t grab my attention despite an attrative cast. Han Hyo Joo has potential, but maybe a bit of a jump from her last drama? Lee Junki’s transition from poor farmer’s boy to a hero was nice in the beginning but a little tiring at the end. Which bring me to the ending which was… odd. I’m still asking myself, did he die or is there a ghost/soul thing going on here? But nonetheless, one to the outfits!

Han Ye Seul. One word. Elegance.

The dress really suits Kim Ha Neul. Except for the huge spider web -looking thing in the front. Really. Truly.

Song Yoon-ah. I don’t know what to say. Maybe you should pick a dress next time that symmetrical, especially near the breast area…. Just a thought.

Love him! Very mature looking, if a little stiff, but overall very nice!

Lee Jun Ki manages to look better than the MBC awards… although it’d be kind of hard to look worse…

Lastly, Han Hyo Joo with short hair cut. Personally, I’d prefer long hair, but a little cuteness doesn’t hurt.
